Psalm 150

Psalm 150 closes the Psalter with an concentrated call to praise. It names sanctuary and heavens, mighty acts and surpassing greatness, then summons trumpet, strings, percussion, pipe, and cymbals into the response. The final line widens the invitation to everything that breathes. After a collection containing lament, confession, fear, wisdom, royal hope, and thanksgiving, this conclusion does not erase those voices; it gathers the whole journey toward expansive praise.

1Praise Yah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power!

2Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him according to his excellent greatness!

3Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet! Praise him with harp and lyre!

4Praise him with tambourine and dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and flute!

5Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with resounding cymbals!

6Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!
